Loneliness

The night-scene is wine
held in the glass of loneliness
U quaff with bravado
though a little listless
U r always talking like
all the drunkards
saying:
E'm not drunk ye...... t
with
a mood indescribable and not expressible
roam
rove ramble unfettered
and detached
Neon
signs r too beautiful to mean anything
'n
then they become much more beautiful
The
pedestrians' eyes r as slippery
as
the fishes in the springs
that
U can catch not with your best efforts
like
the singing sound from all directions
loneliness
is sometimes misty and sometimes floody
besieging
your heart
There
r sacredness and mystery and awesomeness'
vaporized
from the chorus of the gospel singers in a church
Loneliness
is then the work
of
a serious and stiff philosopher
stuffing
your mind with mottled thoughts
'n
it is the serpent in Eden
seducing
U to contemplation or wild fancies
form
an invisible wall between U
and
the crowd U r in
The
faces bursting into our sights
r
so deprived of any expressions
that
this one is quite similar to that one
U
act as if U don't care
That's
because U have too much to care about
So
U can hardly bear to care
U
feel lonely 'cause U need
a
great deal of friendship and love
U
feel lonely 'cause U have the habit of feeling
that way
That's
why I asked for your excusing me
for
my writing the word loneliness so repeatedly
I'm
talking about loneliness that's the reason
Actually
it resembles the air
the
more overflowing and ubiquitous it may occur
the
fewer possibilities for U to feel
It's
something that exists
It's
crucial if U have the habit
'cause
habits r like shadows
which
r not easily spotted unless
U deliberately stand
under strong light
This truth is simple,
yeah
'n many things r equally
simple
Let's pick up the world
for example
When U
r
familiar
with the phenomena
in the world U'll have
the idea that it's as simple as naught
'n of course the world
won't thus vanish
But your so-called vacillation
and melancholy
solitude and agony
will certainly va-ni-sh
Relishlessness is one
relish of life
if you gladly take a
careful taste
Probably it tastes better
than relish
Don't assume U r cheating
yourself
If U get a discounted
fathom
U'll understand that
U r just
cheating life itself
U smile
'n pose yourself like
a venerable elder
'n say don't in such
a wild way contemplate
'n a poem shouldn't be
written too long
so I put down my pen
'n then close the curtain of my eyes
sink my eyebrow to relaxation
sit
erect in meditation
get ushered in Dhyana
'n start again to sense
the void
BECAUSE
whatever
life is or is not
it
needs to be unfettered and detached
