the staff stuffed with notes
is now a blank space

more gypsy

thirst for fluttering
to solicit springs

I sit motionless

the linden
waiting
for
windfalls
or nirvana

the forest of life

in
full flirting bloom
are graceful crosses
decorating
the totem posts

re labyrinths
everywhere
I
erect the white flag
with the spear
used by Don Quixote
(Mind
the tears--the knockout drops)
Inborn loveliness
and love stories
must apply gaudy make-up
to please everybody
